The English Department has selected Gabe Hammack for the Educational  Foundation’s Senior Leadership Award. Gabe’s studious nature and  intelligence set him apart in classroom interactions with his teachers and  his peers. Gabe has the ability to change the entire dynamic of a room,  helping to create an environment that is both engaging and thoughtful. His  impact on the academic atmosphere is palpable as he encourages and  leads all classmates to participate in meaningful discussion and class work.   

What makes Gabe particularly deserving of this award is not just his  academic ability, but also his unwavering sincerity, honesty, and  dependability. In every interaction, Gabe exemplifies integrity, earning the  trust and respect of both peers and faculty. His consistency in approaching  tasks with honesty and sincerity has fostered a sense of trust that is  invaluable in a leadership role. Gabe's dependability is a cornerstone of his  character, and his reliability in fulfilling responsibilities is a testament to his  commitment to the betterment of our academic community.
