December 2022 || Trace Roether

Foundation Leadership Award December Student of the Month Social Sciences Department 

Trace is a very active student. He is responsible, mature, and respectful. Trace displays exceptional academic discipline and strength of character that embodies the Senior Leadership Award. 

Though his interest is in a career in Biomedical Engineering, he has completed coursework in Social Science classes and earning straight As throughout. In the classroom, Trace displays exceptional analysis skills with emphasis on historical empathy, contextualization, and corroboration all the while demonstrating the ability to engage and lead his peers in academic discourse. 

During his time at OTHS, Trace has also been involved with Ottawa Honor Society, boys' basketball, and the President of the OHS Superfans Club. 

The Social Science Division is proud of Trace's accomplishments and looks forward to hearing about his future successes. He is an excellent recipient of this honor. We are proud to nominate Trace Roether to the OTHS Foundation!
